Those who are holding out on seeing 3 From Hell until it’s released on a streaming service are going to have to hold out just a little bit longer – until February 2020, to be exact.
Rob Zombie’s latest film will be landing on Shudder that month. This will be the second time he’s paired with the service. Previously, 31 was also exclusive to Shudder.
3 From Hell will be an exclusive for the service as well.
Shudder General Manager Craig Engler had this to say:
“After more than 10 years, Rob Zombie has delivered. 3 From Hell has the grit, blood and bite we’d expect from a highly anticipated sequel to the crucial Devil’s Rejects. As we were with Zombie’s 31, Shudder is thrilled to shock and shake our members with the return of the Fireflies.”
Fan reviews of the film have been divisive on the newest installment, with many lamenting the lack of Sid Haig’s character due to his health issues while filming. Sadly, the prolific actor passed away on September 21st of this year at the age of 80.
However, others are praising the newest member of the Firefly Family, portrayed by Richard Brake. Many are welcoming him as a worthy addition to the wild and murderous cast of characters that populate all of Rob Zombie’s cinematic universe.
If you still haven’t subscribed to Shudder – first of all, why not? It’s a horror lover’s dream. Now may be the perfect time to do it. There are loads of films to catch up on and it will surely make the wait for 3 From Hell feel a lot shorter than the three months it’s actually going to take for it to be available.
