Good news for fans of the new Creepshow reboot, Untitled Entertainment and The Cartel, the production company behind the recent Greg Nicotero produced anthology are in for 10 more projects over the next two years according to Deadline.
The collaboration will include movies both for the big screen and television.
“Untitled is a tremendous management company and represents exceptional actors, writers and directors,” said Stan Spry, Co-CEO, The Cartel. “Michael Rosenberg has been a friend and colleague for over a decade and has impeccable taste, and great development and production experience. We look forward to continued success and growth together.”
Although there is no word on what types of content the two companies will concentrate on, The Cartel is currently producing a remake of the zombie opus Day of the Dead for SyFy, which THR is calling “an ode to George A. Romero’s 1985 feature.”
Michael Rosenberg, Head of Television, Untitled Entertainment repaid the compliment saying, “Stan and The Cartel provide great expertise in production and financing of movies and movies for television. We are thrilled to be collaborating with them on a slate of movies that will not only utilize and showcase our diverse and exceptional talent roster but also provide entertainment and escapism to broad audiences.”
The Creepshow reboot which premiered on the horror streaming service Shudder was well-received by critics and fans. The series got a green light for a second season late last year. No details on when that will be available to stream.
