Last night’s gruesome new episode of American Horror Story: Freak Show was entitled ‘Tupperware Party Massacre,’ and it certainly lived up to its name. The title was derived from Dandy Mott’s most barbaric murder to date, brutally butchering an entire party of women.
What you may not have noticed is that one of those women was A Nightmare on Elm Street star Heather Langenkamp, who of course played Freddy’s adversary Nancy Thompson in the original franchise. Credited as ‘Female Toulouse,’ Langenkamp was only briefly seen last night, and she also had a blink-and-miss-it cameo in a previous episode.

Though Langenkamp has had very few acting roles since playing herself in Wes Craven’s New Nightmare, she’s still quite active in the world of film, running a makeup effects shop with her longtime husband David LeRoy Anderson. She worked in the makeup department on recent films like Dawn of the Dead and The Cabin in the Woods, as well as Star Trek Into Darkness – briefly appearing on screen in the latter.
Heather Langenkamp recently made a Nightmare on Elm Street documentary called I Am Nancy, which is now available for purchase on DVD or rental On Demand. She will next be seen in the horror film Home, as well as the romantic comedy Getting the Kinks Out.
Yes, Dandy Mott killed Nancy Thompson. Pretty cool, eh?!
