‘Sharknado 5’ Has Been Announced Because Of Course It Has.

Sharknado is a very love it or hate it kind of film, and with a reputation like that it has garnered a pretty infamous reputation.  Well whatever your personal feelings may be about the aforementioned film it looks like it’s here to stay with another entry in the franchise.  It still baffles me that we collectively as a species have allowed this to happen…

Sharknado 5 was recently announced with some new details dropping for the general public.  The new working title is Sharknado 5… Earth 0.  While the title may be more clever than the previous entries, that pun still causes physical pain.  This entry is a direct sequel to Sharknado 4 and its cliffhanger ending.

So for any fans out there who just couldn’t wait to see how the cliffhanger would be resolved, worry not this ridiculous natural disaster has got you covered.  Ian Ziering and Tara Reid will reprise their respective roles in this sequel, and the story this time around will focus on Ziering’s character and his family.

Sharknado 5’s plot is is shaping up to be the most ridiculous yet in the entire franchise, which is truly a sight to behold.  It’s unclear as to what to expect from this new entry in the franchise that has taken the world by storm as Thunder Levin, writer of the previous 4 films, is not returning to continue the story he’s helped to create.

Taking his place instead is Scotty Mullen who has helped work on Sharknado 4 and other low budget horror gems such as Zoombies.  Fans of Mullen’s work should at least know what to expect from this new disaster intent on destroying the world.

These films have never been known for their charm or heartwarming stories, as long as the new sequel sticks to the ridiculous plot lines and laughable character decisions fans should be pleased.  Prepare yourselves for what may be the end of the franchise, and is looking to be most ridiculous entry yet.  Good luck everyone, I fear we may need it with this one.

Everyone knows Stephen King as possibly one of the greatest horror authors to ever grace our eyes, but can say they remember his appearance in PSA for a library? Give it a look, it’s definitely worth the watch and a fantastic reminder of a simpler time before flying sharks took the internet by storm.
