I hated high school. Like, really hated it. And one of the things that sticks out in my mind about the experience is that pesky goddamn Periodic Table of Elements, which I was forced to memorize and pretend to care about. Oh god I hated that thing. If I never see another one again, I’ll be a happy man.

Actually, I take that back. Because the ole Periodic Table has just gotten a seriously cool makeover, and suddenly science seems like a whole lot of fun!

Introducing the Periodic Table of Horror Movies, the handiwork of artist Scott Andersen and his brand Kreepy Kustomz. For this unique table, tailor made for folks like us, Andersen came up with his own two-letter symbols, each of them indicating the title of a classic horror film – and he replaced all categories with horror sub-genres.

In the standard Period Table, which suddenly seems even more boring than ever before, Cr means Chromium while As means Arsenic – just to give a couple examples that I still recall, from my high school days. In Andersen’s table, however, Cr becomes The Crazies while As is now Aliens. Fun, right?!

Check out the full Periodic Table of Horror Movies below, and head over to Andersen’s online shop to purchase a print of the artwork, if you want to spice up your bedroom with a little horror science.
