Last week iHorror was granted the opportunity to attend a junket for the new film MindGamers at the Red Bull Media House in beautiful Santa Monica, California!

On hand at the junket were members of the Cast, Director & Writer Andre Goth, Writer & Producer Joanne Reay, and two Scientists. In a nutshell, science that is currently under development will have the ability to allow a person to share the mind and skills of people all around the planet. Anytime I think about this concept my mind starts to spin! I may even spew out some pea soup! But truth be told there are some amazing agenda items in the works with neuroscience and mind control, and the science behind it was the basis for the film MindGamers. On March 28th fans throughout the U.S. will have the opportunity to enjoy the film in select theaters courtesy of Fathom Events.

Scientist Mikey Siegel speaks briefly about human connection:

“MindGamers is an epic journey into ways Science and technology can radically change the way that we connect as human beings. But in many ways, this is already happening. There are already 2.3 billion people connected on social networks worldwide. So we have more connections that we have every had, but interestingly something is missing. The AARP estimates that were are between two and four times lonelier then we were just fifty years ago. The interesting thing about connection is that it is just not about the quantity of connection it is actually about the quality of the connection. If you think about the way we interact with each other on social networks, it is about data and information. It is about tweets, graphs, and updates. But if you think about the most meaningful the most memorable and meaningful moment that you have had with another person. How much of that was about data? And how much of that was about a felt sense of connection? About intimacy? About trust? About presence? So is this a fundamental flaw with technology? I don’t believe so. I actually think technology is whatever we design it to be.”

One Thousand Minds Connected! Live Event!

Tickets for “MindGamers: One Thousand Minds Connected Live” can be purchased online now by visiting or at participating theater box offices. Fans throughout the U.S. will be able to enjoy the event in select movie theaters. For a complete list of theater, locations visit the Fathom Events websiteThe event is something that the members of the public can participate in. It has been described as the world’s largest neuroscience experience. It is going to be the most the biggest single mass mind connection attempted.

A group of brilliant young students discovers the greatest scientific breakthrough of all time: a wireless neural network, connected via a quantum computer, capable of linking the minds of each and every one of us. They realize that quantum theory can be used to transfer motor-skills from one brain to another, the first shareware for human motor skills. They freely spread this technology, believing it to be the first step towards a new equality and intellectual freedom. But they soon discover that they are part of a much greater and more sinister experiment as dark forces emerge that threaten to subvert this technology into a means of mass -control. MindGamers takes the mind-bender thriller to the next level with an immersive narrative and breath-taking action

The Inspiration For The Film:

The inspiration for MindGamers came directly from a real neuroscience experiment: two rats, with their brains connected via a computer, were able to instantly share motor-skills. It might take one rat three months to learn a maze, but within moments, an untrained rat can download this knowledge and complete the same maze. Upon seeing this experiment performed, as filmmakers, our immediate question was: how long before we can do this between human minds? The answer was both shocking and intriguing – very soon. Once quantum computers are fully functional, we will have a device capable of transferring data between one person and another. That data could be knowledge, motor-skills, dreams, fears or desires. The deeper we researched into this field of mind-to-mind connective technology, the more we realized just how fast it is advancing. The power of the human mind can not only be harnessed, but shaped, accelerated and altered. Bio-tags that blend with the skin and relay information are already in use within medical circles. Their entry into the commercial field is now beginning. The quantum revolution is coming within the next decade, and the once unreachable human mind is becoming computer-compatible. For this reason, we don’t see MindGamers as pure science fiction. It is becoming fact.
