The Horror genre has impacted the lives of so many throughout the world and with the power of social media, this phenomenon continues to grow and grow and this is very evident with the individuals behind the new documentary FredHeads.
The production companies Venn Pictures and Northgate Pictures have been traveling all around the globe to conduct interviews with not just the talent behind the A Nightmare On Elm Street films but from people just like you! The documentary is a homage to everyone!
Director and Producer Paige Troxell explains her love for the Elm Street franchise,
“The Nightmare on Elm Street franchise has done more than impact my life, it has saved my life. In the darkest times I have turned to Elm Street. It is a survival story, it is my best friend, it is my comfort, and it is my home. Traveling the country and meeting other fans and friends who all share similar stories sparked an idea. I knew that there were others out there who saw this film for more than just a typical slasher. It is my goal to bring to life each and every story; to show the world that this community stands together, that we are a support team for each other. I want to show the world what it really means when we call each other FredHeads.”
The production companies have launched an Indiegogo Crowd Funding Campaign to complete their promising project.
Follow the project on Facebook to keep up to date on the team’s progress as they bring this culture to life.
