The crew behind Headless, the upcoming spin-off of Scott Schirmer’s Found, which is about to hit VOD, announced today that it has cast Tromette and fellow Indiana resident Ellie Church.
From the Headless Facebook Page:
CASTING ANNOUNCEMENT! We are excited to share with you that the extraordinarily bad-ass ELLIE CHURCH has joined the cast of “Headless”. Ellie is a fellow Hoosier filmmaker who is frequently seen at horror conventions across the midwest working for Troma Entertainment. She is the star of Brian Williams’ “Time to Kill,” and has also appeared in Joshua Hull’s “The Impersonators” and Daniel Murphy’s “And Then You Die.” She will next be seen in Adam Alhbrandt’s “The Hunters.” Will Ellie be able to keep her head when the cameras roll in October for “Headless?” Stay tuned and find out!
According to her Tromette page:
Church is a horror buff. If she wasn’t working for Troma at the various conventions she does, she would be there anyways, as a fan. She loves Troma movies, especially Terror Firmer. Ellie enjoys acting, modeling, and working the Troma booth at conventions. Her hobbies include watching movies, reading, dressing up in costumes, live music, doing horror makeup, and being a TROMETTE!
Church said Found is her “absolute favorite independent film …ever,” and that she “can’t explain how excited I am , truly. Headless…yes…I’m in it.”
