There is good news for some among the bloodbath of canceled horror TV shows last week, fans of Charmed, whether they like it or not were given the gift of a reboot.
People wondered what the “power of three” would look like in their new gig, and today Madeleine Mantock who plays Macy shared an image of the Charmed Ones on social media.
Joining Macy is Maggie (Sarah Jeffery), and Mel (Melonie Diaz) for the CW revamp. The image is accompanied by the caption:
“Supes late but just wanted to say thank you for all the support and well wishes for the #Charmed pick up! Can’t wait to see my seesters today…”

Wasting no time to generate hype at the CW Upfronts this morning, a few more shots were showcased of these powerful women of color in their familiar element.
Diehard fans of the beloved paranormal series have cold feet wondering if it will retain the chemistry of sisterhood which made the original so revered.
But network execs seemed to have been spellbound by the pilot and ordered a full season.
The concept doesn’t stray far from the original, which will hopefully appease fanatics, yet the network hopes new and old devotees will appreciate a few changes to the source material.
Here is the official synopsis:
“After the tragic death of their mother, three sisters in a college town are stunned to discover they are witches. Soon this powerful threesome must stand together to fight the everyday and supernatural battles that all modern witches must face: from vanquishing powerful demons to toppling the patriarchy.”
There is no release date yet for when the show will premiere, but at least we know it will air on Sundays.
