New! Creepshow “Father’s Day” Retro Action Figure

Written by Brian Linsky

If you’re a fan of the 1982 horror classic Creepshow, you’re in luck! You now have a chance to own your very own Nathan Grantham retro action figure.

Nathan was the cranky old man featured in the opening story (Jon Lorner), who was angrily yelling for his Father’s Day cake until his family finally had enough of him.

Creepshow was a horror fan’s dream collaboration as two of the genre’s most iconic figures teamed up to spawn the film.

Creepshow was written by Stephen King and directed by George Romero (Night of The Living Dead), and it featured 5 tales of terror laid out in the format of a classic comic book.

Now Nathan can finally get his cake with the release of this brand new product from Amok Time Toys and  Monstarz. Nathan is the first release from their new Creepshow series, and features the following product specifications:

  • 9 points of articulation
  • Hinged jaw
  • Interchangeable hands
  • Head Cake accessory
  • Figure display base
  • 3.8″ tall
  • Frightfully packaged in a retro styled card
The new Creepshow series begins with “Father’s Day”

The product won’t actually hit the shelves ’til February 2017, but you can pre-order one right now.

The Creepshow series will feature other characters as well, and by the looks of the photo on the packaging, it appears the creature from the crate will be the next one to debut.

The Creepshow series is available through Amok Time Toys and is designed by Monstarz.

Personally I’m hoping to see an Upson Pratt figure (played by E.G. Marshall in the film), along with the cockroaches and cereal box included, but we’ll have to wait and see what the creative minds at Monstarz and Amok Time Toys have up their sleeve.

Pre-order your Creepshow series “Father’s Day” action figure now.

Other series currently available from Monstarz include: Night of the Living Dead, Pit and the Pendulum, Critters, Re-animator, The Hideous Sun Demon, and more! There’s also many other items currently available at
