Director Robert Hall is back with the very anticipated movie, Fear Clinic. The fan-funded movie is making quite the buzz in the horror movie genre and even the music world. Robert Englund is set to star as his 2009 web series character, Dr. Andover. Englund’s character wants to cure phobias within five patients by using his Fear Chamber, which traps patients into a coffin like contraption and the person in the Fear Chamber will undergo hallucinations of their biggest fears.
The movie also stars Fiona Dourif, Thomas Dekker, Brandon Beemer, and Angelina Armani. But a surprising guest in the movie is Slipknot and Stone Sour’s frontman, Corey Taylor. Fear Clinic is Taylor’s first appearance in a movie and his fans wait anxiously to see what the rocker has to offer in the movie.
Some lucky fans at Texas Frightmare Weekend were able to meet Robert Hall, Thomas Dekker and Corey Taylor and during their panel, fans saw never before seen clips from the movie. Taylor announced at the panel that him and his band Stone Sour recorded the song “The Dark” by Metal Church that will appear in the film. Rumors are going around that Dekker will be contributing music to the soundtrack too.
A big treat at that panel was a video that Englund made, since he could not make the event and thanked fans for the support.
Fear Clinic is set to be released in October. But as fans wait, Fear Clinic’s Facebook page has been holding auctions for signed movie posters from the cast! If fans would like a taste of what Fear Clinic is all about, check out the trailer below!
