Hairy Arms as retold by Waylon Jordan

It was Halloween night, and Tara’s mother had sent her to the mall to buy candy and treats for trick or treaters.  She had finished all her shopping and was loading her bags into a car when she noticed an old woman walking through the parking garage.  Tara continued loading her bags but looked up startled a moment later when the old woman was suddenly standing next to her.

“I’m so sorry,” the wold woman said, “but I seem to have missed my bus.  I was wondering if you might give me a ride.”

Perhaps it was the holiday, or the fact that her mom had willingly let her go to the mall on her own, but Tara found herself agreeing.

She helped the old woman into the car, but as she did she noticed that the woman had very hairy arms.  They looked more like a man’s arms, and it unnerved her…

Thinking quickly, she started rifling through her purse.

“I’m so sorry.  I forgot my debit card inside.  Would you mind waiting while I run back into the mall for the moment?”

“Not at all dear,” the old woman replied, and Tara quickly made her way back into the safety of the mall.

Tara quickly found a security guard and told him of her fears.  He agreed to accompany her back to her car.

As they entered the parking garage, Tara spotted her car, and the passenger door was standing open.  Terrified, she approached the vehicle where she and the security guard found an old woman mask lying in the seat.  Inside the bag the fake old woman left behind, they found a large carving knife and a blood stained purse which would be later tied to another young woman found dead earlier that evening.

Short, but sweet…and deadly.  *shudder*  This is one tale that’s just a little too real.  Don’t forget to join us again tomorrow for another scary story on our countdown to Halloween!!

‘Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 3’ Is a Go with Enhanced Budget and New Characters

Winnie the Pooh 3

Wow, they’re churning things out fast! The upcoming sequel “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 3” is officially moving forward, promising an expanded narrative with a larger budget and the introduction of beloved characters from A.A. Milne’s original tales. As confirmed by Variety, the third installment in the horror franchise will welcome Rabbit, the heffalumps, and the woozles into its dark and twisted narrative.

This sequel is a part of an ambitious cinematic universe that reimagines children’s stories as horror tales. Alongside “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey” and its first sequel, the universe includes films such as “Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare”, “Bambi: The Reckoning,” and “Pinocchio Unstrung”. These movies are set to converge in the crossover event “Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble,” slated for a 2025 release.

Winnie the Pooh Poohniverse

The creation of these films was made possible when A.A. Milne’s 1926 children’s book “Winnie-the-Pooh” entered the public domain last year, allowing filmmakers to explore these cherished characters in unprecedented ways. Director Rhys Frake-Waterfield and producer Scott Jeffrey Chambers, of Jagged Edge Productions, have led the charge in this innovative endeavor.

The inclusion of Rabbit, heffalumps, and woozles in the upcoming sequel introduces a new layer to the franchise. In Milne’s original stories, heffalumps are imagined creatures resembling elephants, while woozles are known for their weasel-like characteristics and a penchant for stealing honey. Their roles in the narrative remain to be seen, but their addition promises to enrich the horror universe with deeper connections to the source material.
